01. How do we book you?
Either through social media or through the contact page on my website! I am in the process of a formal booking calendar with my availability so in the mean time what helps is to give any ideas in location you might have, dates that work or don't work and evenings/weekend availability. I do host mini session days where that is done via booking link.
02. What is the turnaround time?
Sneak peeks are always sent within 24-48 hours of your session and the full gallery is delivered within 1-3 weeks. Timeline is more so determined with busy season and volume which for me is May - October usually. I am pretty flexible so if you are needing them on a tighter timeline let me know!
03. How do we access our photos? Can we share them?
Photos are sent through a digital link with a download PIN to either your email or via social media or text message. You have unlimited access to them, if at any point I need to free up storage I would give you a heads up!
Yes you can absolutely share them, and be sure to tag me if you have a moment! If you prefer not to have them shared online for whichever reason I do respect that so please let me know before hand.
04. Do you Retouch any photos?
I do edit out anything in your photo that doesn't need to be there (background people, random garbage cans or cars.) I don't change your body in any way such as making you look slimmer, adding nails or makeup. Personally my aim is to capture moments as they are now and nothing that is exaggerated. Adjustments I do make would be stray hairs, skin imperfections or scuffed knees.

05. What if I am late or need to reschedule?
If you need to reschedule whether something urgent came up/happened or sickness please let me know as soon as you can (preferably the day prior or the morning of) and we can 100% re schedule! Lots of things happen that are not in our control so I definitely understand!
Weather wise I do check the radar frequently, if it is too hot or cold or a storm is coming in I will reach out and we can reschedule. If during a sesssion it's getting to warm or cold or rough I shoot what we can and offer a secondary session to finish it up when possible.
If you are running late please make sure to let me know, I don't mind waiting for you! If I haven't heard from you I'll shoot you a text however after 15 minutes I will leave the location and we will need to re-schedule.
06. What Do we wear? Do we need to bring anything?
Some sessions will have a bit of a theme that I will bring what's needed for setup with me but if I need anything from you I will definitely let you know before hand! But if you have any props or fun things you wanted to include you are more than welcome!
You are also more than welcome to bring your pets as well! I love all kinds of animals and they are always welcome any time! Just know I will pet and give them lots of kisses and cuddles.
As for what to wear I can always send over some inspiration but I always usually default to either jeans and shirt casual or dresses or even dress up. My biggest thing is wear what you feel most comfortable in and what you love because that will show in your photos! These photos are for you, I don't want to force you into something that isn't you.
07. Do you have a Referral Program?
Yes I do! I am so thankful to everyone who shares my name out to their family and friends and as a little thank you if I do get a session booked with someone that you gave my name I will gift you a photo book of our session together as a little thank you! I do ask that your friend or family member mentions your name so I know who to make the gift for!
08. How long are sessions usually? What is the cost? How many photos do we get?
Such great questions!
Sessions are as follows:
1 hour at $100 - 100-250 photos
15-30 minutes $60 - 30-80 photos
I always schedule my time with about 30 minutes extra time in case we go over time, but you will not be charged for that.
If you are interested in large family photos I never charge per person its more so in time. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions as I can make a deal for longer periods of time as well!

09. How do we Pay you, do you require a deposit?
Currently I do not require a deposit. Upon booking I will share my direct deposit info, either my cell or my email!
10. We haven't done photos before and are super nervous.. any tips?
I totally understand! Nerves are 100% normal and I will be with you through it all. Feel free to send any inspiration pictures my way or ask any questions you may have at any time!
The day of our session I always start with a bit of a walk and a chit chat to get to know you and go from there. Deep breaths and I never aim for perfection at all. Just you and your partner (or family) as they are right now.
11. How far do you travel, do you charge Mileage?
As of right now I don't charge mileage although that can change. Travel wise my service area is pretty wide spread through Southern Manitoba from as north as Grand Beach, west as Brandon, south as Winkler and East as Oak bank. I dream of photos all over Canada though so if something ever works out one day that would be wonderful! If their are other spots outside my service area we could definitely chat to figure something else!
12. What happens if we don't love our photos.
I am truly sorry if you're not happy with your final photos. I put a lot of time and care into every session and all edits follow the style and approach shown throughout my portfolio, which is what you booked for. If you still feel the images aren't what you hoped for, I'm happy to offer a complimentary reshoot. If your wanting a full re-edit in a different style, additional editing fees will apply.

13. Are you able to design any prints or How does that work?
Yes absolutely! I love designing photo books for clients and to showcase your story!
As for prints I can easily order you canvas wrapped photos, framed photos, individual photos and anything you can imagine! I also have the ability to digitize your film photos that have been stored away for years and bring them back to life!
